rule 001 : manners

under no circumstances do i tolerate folk being a dickhead. how i describe one as such would include the following: transphobic, homophobic, misogynistic, misandry, racism, ableist and any other forms of bigotry. those that treat others with kindness and respect will gain that in return. i don't deal with folk that don't, to either the mun or the character themselves.

rule 002 : communication

i am a very quiet individual but will always, always communicate when i cannot or can do something. likewise, i will communicate whether something makes me uncomfortable or not. i, especially, expect the same out of those that want to roleplay with penelope. the moment you hit me with something that could have been solved from a talk, i will not be entertaining it.

rule 003 : conflict

i will generally not put penelope in any form of conflict unless it is discussed ooc. it can be stressful for the mun if they aren't entirely ready to roleplay that sort of thing. any poking or prodding at penelope will be met with a sweet motherly pushback and perhaps some light confusion.

rule 004 : shipping

do feel free to try! penelope is easy to get along with and somewhat easy to romance, but it's not easy to pry her whole story from her. if you're okay with the bigger possibility that her relationship with your oc will be casual at most unless pried into, then, genuinely try! i'd prefer shipping with friends, however. in terms of erp, it's not difficult to get her to do so, but advice: probably don't start off with that.

- if she's with someone and you're not a staff member at a venue or it wasn't pre-planned, please ask to join.

rule 006 : do nots and dnis

- if you're not a fan of prose and it bordering on purple prose, maybe i'm not the writer to collaborate with.
- if you have a deep aversion to darker themes in a character, please don't dig deeper than you might want to.
- don't stoke conflict with penelope for the simple sake of wanting to.

ㅤpersonalityㅤ Above all else, penny is a motherly figure that wants very little else but a simple life for herself and those that she comes into contact with. Observant in nature, she treats others precisely how she'd wish to be treated and with her, everyone gains an equal opportunity. alas, the woman is a touch of a pushover, unwilling to part with the very idea that if everyone isn't happy, then it is simply because she didn't try hard enough. penny is keen to provide comfort however she might even through discomfort and doubt.

ㅤappearanceㅤ the smile on her expression is nigh permanent; gentle and fluttering eyelashes more apt to curl in amusement or earnest more than those lavender eyes are meant to scorn. she appears to be pleasant, with the horns of a bovine and the downturned ears of one, though the shape is distinctly vieran in nature. what adorns those are flowers, no doubt placed with some semblance of care. pale purple and wavy hair cascades to frame a medium-dark complexion, one with beauty marks and lips tended to stain red or purple. short stature, her tail is always slow to move, always waved with an air of unhurriedness.

he and i have come to an agreement that betwixt your family, you will be receiving an eighth of the desrosiers wealth as well as a small estate to reside in within the black shroud. it should allow the lot of you to live well. how the wealth is divided amongst yourselves is for you to handle. i will only give you one, final order as i write this: you live fuller lives than the ones i have given you and to leave a place better than you have found it.

i trust that auguste, with a heavy heart, will be dutiful in his duties of arranging you and your family's new assets. he will assist you all in getting settled within the black shroud and from henceforth, none from the desrosiers household may disrupt your peace lest it is explicitly permissible by the head of the bonibelle estate. i pray that halone gives you, lowell, damien and penelope the peace i never gave you.

the faintest lilt of her voice may hint that she's from ishgard and has been in ishgard for a majority of her life, though the circumstances were not quite the best. if your character is from ishgard, it's wholly possible and more probable than not that she may have been noticed walking around on errands.

caretaker of the brume
